Located in the northeastern section section of Atlanta, the 8th largest metropolitan areas by population and the second largest in the Southeast, Duluth is a wonderful place for your new address. The city is 20 miles from Downtown Atlanta, in the west central section of Gwinnett County and is bordered by the Chattahoochee River on the north side. With the close locality of Duluth there are many roads residents can take to connect to Atlanta and other metropolitan areas. Buford Highway, Sugarloaf Parkway, Pleasant Hill Road, Duluth Highway, and 85 are the main roads that residents take. 

Duluth has beautiful historic downtown area which is being preserved by the Duluth Historical Society. As stated on their website the historical society´s mission statement is to "recognize the value of out people´s rich heritage. It´s important to understand who we were, who we are, and who we are yet to become". The downtown area is a wonderful place to send the afternoon at one of the cafés, coffee shops, or browsing the little shops. Duluth is a progressive City with its sights set firmly on the future, but a City with a promise to keep its "Old Town Pride."Duluth is a family friendly city with their summertime events such as Flicks on the Bricks and the Summer Stage Concert Series. Sports fan will be pleased to know that the Gwinnett Gladiators, a professional minor league ice hockey team, plays in the Arena at Gwinnett Center.
