About Milton Georgia

Milton is one of the newest cities in Georgia being formed in December 2006. Milton is at the top end of Fulton County, and is bordered by Cherokee County, Forsyth County, the city of Alpharetta, and the city of Roswell. The city has double the area of Alpharetta but has 1/3 less of the population. The new city on the top end of Fulton County is bordered on the northwest by Cherokee County, the northeast by Forsyth County, on the southeast by the city of Alpharetta and on the southeast the city of Roswell.  Milton has double the area of Alpharetta but a third less in population.

Milton is home to two types of neighborhoods "Subdivision Neighborhoods" and "Open-Road Neighborhoods". The first is off the main thorough-fare subdivisions and the second are residential nodes that are located on open two-lane county roads. Milton has a lot of horse property and beautiful county scenery.  There is much opportunity in Milton for growth, new housing developments, and new families. This area is expected to boom over the next couple of years.
