About Johns Creek Georgia


Johns Creek officially became a city in December, 2006, it is located in the Northeast corner of Fulton county and is the 10th largest city in the state of Georgia and is one of the fastest growing cities in the United States.  Johns Creek
is settled along the Chattahoochee River in the Piedmont plain of the Appalachian Mountains.

Johns Creek is close enough to Atlanta to take advantage of the city culture and economic growth and yet far enough away to experience a quieter lifestyle. Johns Creek has many recreational activities to offer. Home to the Atlanta Athletic Club, which will be hosting the PGA Championship tournament in 2012, St. Ives, Rivermont, Country Club of the South, and Standard Club Johns Creek abounds in great golf courses.  If you enjoy the fishing, boating, or any other water sports the Chattahoochee River runs along the city along with Lake Lanier, which is 20 miles away.
